Our latest project at the Fairford, Old Yells Yard development delivered in collaboration with Hills Homes, has been awarded top marks – scoring straight 6s across all categories in a recent inspection.
This outstanding achievement is a testament to Mundy Groundwork’s unwavering commitment to construction quality, safety standards and professional excellence. A Site Steeped in History
Old Yells Yard in Fairford is a beautiful new development of nine thoughtfully designed homes, blending modern living with the area’s rich 18th-century charm. But the site itself holds a unique place in local history.
Yells Yard began life as a small agricultural holding and later became home to the Yells family building firm in 1858. Their craftsmanship helped shape many of Fairford’s most recognisable buildings, such as Burdocks and Palmer Hill, both still in use by the community today. The neighbouring Grade II listed Ivy Villa once served as the Yells family’s main residence – an enduring symbol of the site’s historical significance.
