Mundy Groundwork Limited, led by company Director Graham Mundy, was brought on board to manage all groundwork-related aspects of the project by Bridgeford Homes, ensuring the site was expertly prepared for construction and harmonised with the surrounding natural landscape.

Site Preparation

The groundwork for Canada Heights began with thorough site preparation to create a stable and secure foundation for the construction of 14 contemporary homes. This involved extensive excavation, grading, and leveling to ensure the land was ready for building. Given the location’s proximity to Faringdon’s Conservation Area, we paid special attention to minimizing the environmental impact while adhering to strict planning regulations. Our team worked efficiently to balance the preservation of the natural landscape with the practical requirements of modern development. This phase was crucial in ensuring that each home in the development would be built on solid ground, free from future issues such as subsidence or water pooling, while preserving the site’s natural beauty.
Drainage Systems

The proximity of Canada Heights to both urban and rural environments made effective drainage systems a vital part of the project. Mundy Groundwork designed and installed a comprehensive drainage system that manages surface water runoff, preventing flooding and soil erosion.
